The 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God represent the official doctrinal foundation of our church. These truths summarize the essential biblical teachings that guide our faith, mission, and practice. We affirm that Scripture is the ultimate authority for belief and conduct, revealing God's plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.

Core Doctrinal Beliefs

• The Inspiration of Scripture
  We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, revealing His truth and serving as the foundation for faith and life.

• The One True God
  We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• The Deity of Jesus Christ
  We affirm that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, whose redemptive work provides salvation for all humanity.

• The Fall of Humanity
  We believe that humanity was created good but fell into sin through disobedience, resulting in separation from God.

• Salvation Through Christ
  We believe salvation is available to all people through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

• The Ordinances of the Church
  We practice the two ordinances instituted by Christ:

  • Water Baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith.

  • Holy Communion, commemorating the sacrifice of Christ.

• Sanctification
  We believe sanctification is both an initial act and an ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.

• Baptism in the Holy Spirit
  We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience following salvation, empowering believers for Christian service.

• Evidence of the Holy Spirit
  We affirm that the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

• The Mission of the Church
  The Church is called to:

  • Evangelize the world

  • Worship God

  • Build up believers through discipleship and fellowship

• Divine Healing
  We believe that divine healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and is available to believers through faith and prayer.

• The Blessed Hope
  We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for His Church.

• The Millennial Reign of Christ
  We believe Christ will return to establish His millennial kingdom on earth.

• Final Judgment
  We believe that all people will face final judgment according to their response to God’s grace.

• The New Heaven and New Earth
  We believe in the eternal state where God will establish a new heaven and a new earth for the redeemed.
